| Pretty picture just because |
A while ago I picked up a journal from Barnes and Nobles that
contains 300 prompts. I thought it may be a fun project for this blog if we go
through all (or some) of the prompts together. What do you guys think? Let me
know! I think the questions are all pretty fun and they’re definitely the kind
that you would not only like to answer yourself but also enjoy reading others
answers. We’ll start one that caught my eye while I was browsing the journal.
What color do you feel like today?
Hmm, I think I feel like lilac today. It’s one of my favorite
colors and incites a certain calm in me. I feel quite chipper but also rather
calm at the moment, peaceful if you will. It’s snowing outside as I type this
and I’m all toasty inside the house (for which I’m forever grateful), I feel
warm and pleasant and peaceful. Something about those feelings just brings
lilac to mind. I think that’s how I’d feel if I were running through a field
somewhere, surrounded by the color lilac. It’s also the color I’ve chosen for
my wedding dress lol so yeah lilac!

I love this idea because I often think about the different colours that relate to how I'm feeling :) I love the snow hehe but It is nice to be all toasty inside while it's cold :) Right now I think I feel light blue, because I'm finally feeling calm and organised like I know what I'm doing with all my college work and I'm beginning to feel optimistic for the future :)

Light blue is a beautiful color and if I had to say any color is an optimistic color, it'd be light blue. :-)

ReplyDeleteNo surprises here that I, too, love lilac! xoxo And I've been on a hunt for the perfect lilac eyeshadow. Still eludes me. If you believe colors are vibrational, I can see how they affect people, and why lilac is soothing. Indeed! My default feeling-color is magenta, the deep purply one, not the fuschia.
I'm curious to see what the other questions are, too. :)

DeleteI like this idea! Hmmm...for me I think I am green today. I feel motivated and energized (very much how the color green affects me). It is the start of a new week and I want to star it right by feeling motivated to achieve my goals and dreams and have the energy to pursue it. :) Can't wait for the next one! :)
